Shiba Inu was seen as a joke by many but after getting a listing from Coinbase Pro many experts have changed their tune.
The meme coin soared over 31% and is currently trading at $0.00000864 after it was listed on Coinbase Pro.
Many holders are hoping Shiba will reach $0.01 and are determined to get the coin listed on other big exchanges such as Robinhood to help them reach that goal.
Developers for Shiba Inu are also working on Shiba Swap which will act as an exchange and also help the coin gain value at the same time.
As of right now the cries that were screaming Shiba Inu is a pump and dump scheme have gone silent after the coin’s latest listing on Coinbase Pro.

Yahoo News covered the news and dropped these details:
The price of the tokens behind dogecoin rival Shiba Inu, fan token platform Chiliz and Keep Network, a platform that aims to bridge public blockchains and private data, are soaring after leading crypto exchange Coinbase announced it is adding them to its professional platform.
Effective today, Coinbase Pro users can transfer their CHZ, KEEP and SHIB into their accounts. Trading will begin on or after 9 a.m. Pacific time. CHZ and SHIB won’t be available to New York residents.
In response to the additions, which mean millions more people can trade the tokens, the price of SHIB, Shiba Inu’s token, is up more than 31% over the last 24 hours, while the price of CHZ, the token of Chiliz, is up 18.3% over the last 24 hours. Keep Network’s token, KEEP, is up 14%.
Coinbase added SHIB little more than a month after that coin’s creation, in marked contrast to its addition of dogecoin, which seemed to take doge years. This reflects a sea change in the approach of the exchange, a change announced at the time of its addition of dogecoin on June 1.

Bitcoin.com covered the story too:
Following the listing of the meme cryptocurrency dogecoin (DOGE) early this month, Coinbase announced Tuesday that the shiba inu (SHIB) crypto will start trading on Coinbase Pro this week. The ERC20 crypto shiba inu is seen by some as an alternative token to dogecoin.
The Nasdaq-listed company says that starting immediately, Coinbase Pro users can transfer shiba inu tokens into their accounts. However, SHIB will not be available to New York residents. The company clarified:
Trading will begin on or after 9AM Pacific Time (PT) Thursday June 17, if liquidity conditions are met.
The announcement also covers chiliz (CHZ) and the keep network (KEEP). Besides dogecoin, the company recently added trading support for a number of tokens on Coinbase Pro, including polkadot (DOT), gitcoin (GTC), enzyme token (MLN), amp (AMP), and internet computer (ICP).
