If you’re a Jazz fan then this is for YOU!
According to sources, The Utah Jazz is bringing the world a new kind of experience through its NFT virtual locker room digital art and collectible product.
Holders of the NFT will reportedly be able to access a slew of features, and even be able to communicate directly with players…..
The implications here are pretty broad, as one can see this use case being applicable to other fields as well— like music; people can easily be sold “back-stage” NFT’s as a way to talk or communicate with their favorite artist.
I am happy to see The NBA doing some pretty innovative stuff in the world of NFT’s, and I can’t wait to see where the tech and the market for digital art, fandom, and collectibles goes.
Fans and enthusiasts were excited over the recent announcement:
The Utah Jazz NBA team is bringing a new spin on non-fungible token (NFT) use-cases in the sports world with its one-of-a-kind Virtual Locker Room NFT.

Bein Crypto confirmed:
Announced on Aug 31, the new NFT program from the Utah Jazz brings opportunities for more fan engagement and goes beyond being just a digital collectible or artwork exclusive. The Jazz is rolling out a first-of-its-kind, “virtual locker room.”
This creation pairs a digital non-fungible token (NFT) concept with exclusive access to the team’s virtual locker room. The experience entails once in a lifetime interaction with legends from the team.

Tech Times had more details:
The NFTs of the Jazz team will go on Sep. 7. Fans of the team can add their names to the waitlist now, according to the NBA.
The Utah Jazz is the latest NBA team to sell NFTs. In July, the New York Knicks released an NFT collection of the team’s moments. Fans are now expecting other teams to follow.
In 2020, NBA Top Shot started selling and trading moments from the league. It is like trading cards but in digital format, and this is what the Utah Jazz will be doing next week.
