Elon Musk And Dorsey Agree To Have THE Talk

Looks like a heated debate is coming soon…..

Dorsey and Musk will be talking and debating all things Bitcoin at an event scheduled for July of 2021, according to sources.

This meeting may have serious ramifications for the Bitcoin world as remarks from either party have influenced the digital currency in the past; especially, those coming from Tesla C.E.O. Elon Musk.

Musk’s comments have been known to send Bitcoin’s price into a tailspin, and his recent lack of support for Bitcoin is tied to its environmental and sustainability impact.

Sources say, this will be the first time the two will be seen together at an event to discuss Bitcoin.

CNBC reported:

The event is scheduled to take place July 21, according to its website, “offering a live experience and a library of content to the investor community, enabling a more informed discussion about the role Bitcoin can serve for institutions across the globe.”

Comments from Musk have taken bitcoin investors on a wild ride lately. The eccentric Tesla boss initially supported bitcoin, briefly adding the hashtag #bitcoin to his Twitter bio in January. 

At the same time, Musk has made a number of tweets supporting dogecoin, which led to a stunning — but short-lived — rally for the joke cryptocurrency.

More recently, Musk appears to have rowed back on his views about bitcoin. Last month, he said Tesla would stop accepting bitcoin for car purchases, citing environmental concerns around the “insane” amount of energy required to mine the digital currency.

Apart from Dorsey, some of the other popular names that will speak at the conference include the CEO and CIO of ARK Invest, Cathie Wood, and the CEO of Blockstream, Adam Back.

With this event, Twitter’s CEO continues to reaffirm his support for the primary cryptocurrency.

During the 2021 Bitcoin Conference in Miami, he called the asset the most important work of his lifetime. Furthermore, he said he would leave Twitter and Square if BTC needed him.

His personal Twitter account continues to display only one word – bitcoin. Additionally, he partnered with the legendary rapper Jay-Z to donate 500 BTC to fund developers working on the network.
