There are a lot of Bitcoin naysayers.
Just as a quick disclosure, I myself hold Bitcoin in my portfolio, but not much.
Critics of the cryptocurrency claim that it is a hammer in search of a nail, and while the tech was revolutionary, the digital currency has very little proven use cases.
Today’s story is a reminder that not only is Bitcoin alive and well, but it’s seeing an increase in adoption as a payment method worldwide.

Take a look:
Resort and theme park PortAventura World has become the first in Europe to accept payments in #bitcoin for the services it offers at its facilities located in Tarragona, Spain.

AI Authority came through with more details:
PortAventura World, the resort that boasts the most theme parks in Europe, in addition to six hotels with 2,300 rooms, is developing software so that its guests can use cryptocurrencies as a means of payment if they wish to do so.
This initiative will be launched at the beginning of the 2022 season at the receptions of the six hotels in the resort.
